Drishti — Enuxia Vacuum engineering console
Drishti is the engineering and diagnostic interface used during development of Enuxia Vacuum.
It provides real-time visibility into the robot and SLAM stack.
Drishti originates from the upstream VacuumTiger project and remains a development tool in the Enuxia fork.
It is not intended to be the final consumer application.
Modes
Sensor mode
Connects directly to SangamIO for:
- sensor telemetry;
- LiDAR visualization;
- wheel/encoder data;
- bumper and cliff state;
- battery information;
- actuator testing;
- low-level diagnostics.
SLAM mode
Connects to DhruvaSLAM for:
- occupancy-grid visualization;
- robot pose;
- LiDAR overlay;
- navigation paths;
- mapping commands;
- mapping and navigation diagnostics.
Installation
python -m venv .venv
source .venv/bin/activate
pip install -r requirements.txt
Show available CLI options:
python drishti_ui.py --help
Role in Enuxia Vacuum
Drishti should remain an engineering console.
The future user-facing interface is expected to communicate with the local Enuxia Vacuum backend through a stable API/WebSocket layer.

Known development caveats
UI state should not be treated as the sole source of truth during development.
Some current mapping/navigation states still require consolidation in the backend state model.
Physical motion tests must always be supervised.
Origin
Drishti originates from VacuumTiger.
Enuxia preserves the upstream history and applicable notices while continuing development as part of Enuxia Vacuum.
